Bringing Us Together
The
Hutchinson Rotary Club, founded in 1915, represents a broad
cross-section of local business and professional leaders,
and focuses on service to our community and beyond.
We meet the first, third and fifth Mondays of each month
at 11:45 a.m. at the Ramada Hotel, 1400 N. Lorraine,
for lunch and a guest speaker.
We currently have about 120 members, men and women representing
such fields as health care, education, marketing, city government,
banking, accounting, manufacturing, insurance, social services,
law enforcement, retail, food service, law, and many more.
And, of course, our retired members occupy a very special
place in our club.
We even have an Interact chapter, a group of area high school
students focusing on worthy projects in their schools. Among
our membership are 40 Paul Harris Fellows, members who have
made a significant contribution to the club in terms of service
or a monetary gift.
Membership is by invitation only, but we invite you to explore
how you can become a member.

of seven standing committees.

Throughout the year, special committees identify local organizations
to receive grants, address local and international service
projects and The Rotary Foundation, plan the annual benefit
golf tournament and other special events.
At each of our meetings, our light-hearted Special Recognition
raises funds for PolioPlus and other local and international
causes supported by Rotary. (PolioPlus
is an international Rotary program that has immunized more
than 1 billion children worldwide.)

centennial clock, a contribution to this community to commemorate
Rotary International's centennial and our own 90th anniversary.

Once a year we gather with spouses and friends to celebrate
the season at our annual Christmas Banquet.
Our monthly newsletter
provides information on upcoming meetings and helps us stay
connected to each other.
