Our Monday luncheon meetings are held at the Stringer Fine Arts Building on the Hutchinson Community College Campus, located at 600 E. 11th Ave. (east of Plum St., between the Cosmosphere and Sports Arena) Hutchinson, KS 67501. The buffet line opens at 11:45 am. Members enjoy casual conversation until the meeting is called to order around 12:10 p.m.

 

Our club begins each meeting with an invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and the recitation of the Four Way Test and the introduction of any guests.

 

Special Recognition follows. This light-hearted tradition calls on individuals to bring $1 to the podium each time the announcer refers to a topic that pertains to them. The funds are pooled and donated to our local endowed fund at the Hutchinson Community Foundation. Our endowment supplements our annual grants to local nonprofits.

 

New members to the club are then inducted, if applicable. After inductions, the President make announcements and covers other brief business items.

 

Our featured speaker begins around 12:30 p.m. and ends around 12:55. After Q & A with the speaker, we adjourn promptly at 1:00 p.m.
